Robert Peterson has been studying and inducing out-of-body experiences (OBEs) since he graduated from high school in 1979. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors degree in computer science in 1984. While attending the University, he became proficient at out-of-body exploration, while keeping detailed journals of his experiences. At the same time, he did volunteer work for a student-based organization called the Minnesota Society for Parapsychological Research (MSPR), which gave him experience as a “Ghost Buster” before the movie made the subject popular.

Since college, he has had a very successful career as computer systems analyst. He compiled his early experiences into his first book, Out of Body Experiences: How to have them and what to expect which was published in 1997. His second book, Lessons Out of the Body: A Journal of Spiritual Growth and Out-of-Body Travel, was published in 2001. His third book is a novel titled The Gospel According to Mike (2011). His fourth book is Answers Within: How to Use Your Inner Voice for Wisdom, Spirituality and Psychic Awareness (2012).

He just published his fifth book, Hacking the Out of Body Experience: Leveraging Science to Induce OBEs which contains more than 50 OBE induction techniques, and they’re all grounded in science.

He has given OBE lectures for INACS (Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies) in Austin, Texas and taught a variety of OBE classes. He also has a blog called “The OBE Outlook on Life” at http://obeoutlook.blogspot.com

His website is robertpeterson.org.

Have you prepared yourself for this current life in the period between lives? In this episode I talk with Tathiana Mota, author of the book Intermissive Course, about the different ways we may have prepared ourselves for this life, why it matters and how we can connect more deeply with our life purpose. If you have the feeling that you are here for a reason but haven't quite worked out what that is yet, I encourage you to tune in.
Tathiana Mota was born in 1974 in Manaus, Brazil. Besides having a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, she is a polyglot, translator and educator. An interest in parapsychic phenomena led the author to conscientiology classrooms in 1993. Tathiana is passionate about social change through education and has more than 20 years of active volunteer experience in the third sector. Her extensive background includes personal development and self-assessment, mentoring, training, mediation, project and event management. She has worked in projects for teacher training in Brazil and abroad at the International Institute of Projectiology and Conscientiology (IIPC) and the International Association of Parapedagogy and Consciential Reeducation (Reaprendentia). Tathiana is currently on sabbatical in Brisbane, Australia, immersed in a multicultural experience to deepen her research on global citizenry.
